(posted 2014-09-15)

Path to Advancement

York Fall Camporee Art

Join the York District Advancement Committee at the 2014 Fall Camporee on October 17 – 19 in Buxton, Maine.

Saturday Morning:  The morning activities at the Camporee will include a brief introduction to a variety of Merit Badges.  Scouts will not be earning these Merit Badges, but rather simply be exposed to them.

Saturday Afternoon Scouts will teach and work on Fly First Class level requirements as well as being exposed to the many special advancement awards available.  There will also be a Life to Eagle Program for seasoned Star and ALL Life Scouts.  Be sure to sign up for your Unit to teach an afternoon session.  Remember… Scouts learn… then teach!

All WEBELOS are invited to a special program starting at 1PM on the 18th and can camp overnight (with an adult) on Saturday night.

Boy Scouts can REGISTER HERE and Webelos can REGISTER HERE and as always, pre-registration is required.  Please email Rick Raynes at rick.raynes@yahoo.com with an estimate on how many scouts and adults you think will be attending the Fall Camporee.  Pre-Registration deadline is October 3rd.
