2016 York District Fall Camporee
(posted 2016-09-14)

Hello York District!  This year’s Fall Camporee will be unique!  For starters, it will not be held anywhere… instead, it will be held “everywhere”.  Secondly, you can choose between two weekends to camp, or do both.  Normally, our District Fall Camporee is held on October’s third full weekend, which includes Friday, Saturday and Sunday and this year, falls on 10/21, 10/22 & 10/23.  But since paperwork has been distributed at Roundtable listing the Camporee weekend as 10/14, 10/15 & 10/16, we decided to let you choose when you want to participate!  Click HERE for all the information regarding the Camporee.

York District Round-Table Calendar
(posted 2016-08-26)

Welcome all York District Scout Leaders, Committee Members and all interested in Scouting.

York District hosts a monthly Round-Table where you can share information, learn something new, and meet new friends in Scouting.

Round-Table is there to provide leaders with program ideas, information on policy and events as well as training opportunities.  It is a forum for sharing experiences and enjoying fun and fellowship with other Scout leaders.

Round-Table is held the first Thursday of each month from 7:00 to 8:30pm at Sanford Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Westview Dr, Sanford, ME 04073.

Below is a calendar of the planned topics for both Boy Scout and Cub Scout breakouts.  It also contains contact information for your Roundtable Commissioners.

Can you believe we’re about 3 weeks away from the start of camp?!? Miss Leah has been working on the procedural stuff to get ready for Camp, and Miss Sherry has been working hard to put together a fantastic week of programming for our campers, and we are super excited for camp, but we could still use some more adult help. If you’re interested in volunteering at camp or know of another adult that is interested, please contact us ASAP! Thanks!

**Volunteer bonus: the cost for your scout to attend camp for the week is only $50!**
